    Is it cheaper to buy house and land package?

    House and land packages tend to be cheaper than buying already established homes. Due to this, the potential for capital growth is significant if you are seeking to invest in a property.

    As an owner-occupier, there are obvious benefits in purchasing a package that will amount to less cost than buying an already established home. You also have time to save and gather your finances between making the deposit and the building of your home.

    How do I choose a house and land package?

    We take all the hard work out of this as our consultants do all the research for you and navigate you through the selection process. 

    Do you pay stamp duty on house and land packages?

    Yes but only the Land which leaves you saving literally thousands of $$$. 

    Can you negotiate house and land packages?

    House and land packages provide fixed prices although our team will assess the market throughout our research and selection stage of the process and find you the best package for your strategy.

    How much deposit do I need for home and land package?

    You generally need to have a 5-10% deposit to qualify for a house and land package loan.

    Based on our experience, we do recommend our clients have a 20% deposit although we will always help all our clients regardless of their deposit size. 

    What is included in House and land packages?

    The term 'house and land package' is used by home developers to describe a 'package deal' that includes both a new home and the land on which it's built.

    In most cases, a house and land package will consist of a pre-built home and the land it is built on.

    Now, the term to be very aware of is turnkey. Most builders use this term loosely and without caution. 

    Our home and land packages are COMPLETE TURNKEY  meaning it includes all your concreting and landscaping so that you can move in or lease out your property the moment you receive the keys at the end of the build. 

    Can you buy land and not build on it?
    Can I make changes to a home and land package?

    Yes, alterations are available for home and land packages.

    The level of alterations will really depend on whether you are looking to move in or lease out the property. 

    Our qualified consultants will ensure you find the right balance based on what you are looking to do with the property. 

    Can I use my own builder?

    Unfortunately, you can't use your own builder with a home and land package. 

    Speak to one of our consultants and we can assist your land purchase so that you can use your own builder. 

    What happens when my home is completed?

    You will have a sunset period to inspect the property. 

    In the very unlikely event there are defects, these will be fixed by the builder based on times outlined in the contract.

    How long does it take?

    If you have purchased a lot with registered land, you will be looking at 26 - 28 weeks for the build time generally speaking.
